about

I don't understand what's so special about all this shit that you think's so special. I'm writing down every hour of my life in a little pink spreadsheet accessible from the top of Everest, where time moves more slowly and the column's totals prove inaccurate. I provide myself doses of fear each time I near the end of the sidewalk. There's nowhere to go in this naked townhouse. I think I met you at a bar or was it something unspeakable.

The photograph was shot in Death Valley National Park in 2011. The hat in the water is vandalism as far as I'm concerned.
