about

I wake up before the traffic lights, walk beneath the moon. I try to take life seriously but not too literally. Or is it literally but not too seriously. It's never not dark outside, unless you're in Great Sand Dunes. Is there someone in the shadows? The microwave was blinking one second through the night. All these prom dresses in the windows. Here's a common situation in my life. Someone will tell me something, something that I said a while ago, maybe a few years, and I'll say, wow I said that? I don't remember saying that at all. I feel exactly the opposite now.
